The Town

Lerici is  a small but very extensive are because it includes both the city center where there our two houses and some fractions  as Tellaro, San Terenzo and Arcora. The old town is a collection of small streets that are called "carrugi" where there are several inns and small stores in urban areas that now have disappeared in big metropolis. The Piazza Garibaldi has recently been refitted with night lighting and a large fountain near the pier where ferries leave for Portovenere and 5 Terre. Near the marina there is the fish market where the fishers come two times a day and some grocery stores and supermarkets. Restaurants, pizzerias and inns are almost all close to the marina.
